Greek Dressing and Marinade! I just love Greek food. Especially in the warmer months! Nothing beats a yummy grilled chicken breast that’s been marinated in this Greek Dressing. The flavor is fabulous and it’s healthy too 🙂 PLUS, this dressing can be used in a ton of other recipes!! Like my Greek Orzo Pasta Salad, Greek Chopped Salad, or Shopska Salad! The other major benefits to making your own dressings, are that you save a bunch of money AND you know that there aren’t any preservatives or icky ingredients in there! Just simple homemade goodness. When I make this recipe I like to split it in half. One pint for dressing and one for marinating 🙂 Enjoy!
- ½ cup red wine vinegar
- ½ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1-2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. dried parsley
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. fresh black pepper
- 1 Tbs. dijon mustard
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Add all the ingredients except the olive oil to your food processor. Pulse until well combined.
- Turn the processor on and slowly drizzle in the olive oil until emulsified. Enjoy!
