Apple Pie Oatmeal! I love oatmeal… especially on a cold morning. There’s something so satisfying about it. But I also love how healthy it is!! My kids love it when I make homemade oatmeal… especially when I add in sweet ingredients :-) They’re not really a fan of the pre-packaged stuff. Today, I had apples so I decided to make apple pie oatmeal! I will definitely be making this again. It was delicious!!

Ingredients
- 1½ cups old fashioned oats
- 5 cups water
- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. ground all spice
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 Tbs. brown sugar (I don't like my oatmeal overly sweet... so add more brown sugar if you want yours sweeter)
Instructions
- Combine all of your ingredients in a medium size saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer for 15-25 minutes or until the apples are cooked. Enjoy!!
