Watermelon Lemonade! Nothing better on a hot day than fresh, homemade lemonade!! Store bought never comes close to the real deal. This time I thought I’d spruce it up by adding watermelon. It was super yummy and the kids LOVED it 🙂 And if you’re looking for an adult beverage… make sure you check out my Watermelon, Mint, Lemon Drop that I made using this lemonade! It was scrumptious!

Serves: 2 quarts
Ingredients
- 6 cups cold water
- 1½ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1½ cups simple syrup
- ½ seedless mini watermelon
Instructions
- Dice the watermelon into manageable chunks. Blend in blender until smooth (I used my vitamix). You may need to stop your blender and smash the watermelon down into the blades to get it going. Once blended, strain through a sieve. Set the watermelon juice aside.
- In a large pitcher, combine the water, lemon juice, simple syrup and watermelon juice. Refrigerate for an hour or until chilled. Serve over ice and garnish with sliced watermelon or mint sprigs! Enjoy!!
